| Focus: Our first love is reproduction era fabrics,
especially those from the Civil War period and the 1930's. We also
carry a broad selection of florals. Classes are available from
beginner to the more specialized arts. Denice, our owner, has a
passion for antique quilts and has created original patterns so that
these antiques can be reproduced. History:
Common Threads Quilting began in
October 2002. In January, 2005, we moved
to our present building, which was built in 1895 and is located
two blocks south of the town square and courthouse. Our present building has 15 foot
ceilings and about 4000 square feet of floor space.

Location: Common Threads is located in Waxahachie, Texas,
a small town about 25 miles south of Dallas. The address is 315 S.
Rogers Street. Rogers Street runs in a north-south (actually
northeast-southwest) direction along the west side of the town
square and courthouse. Common Threads is two blocks south of the
square. From I-35E, take exit 401B and proceed about three miles
down Business 287 (also known as Main Street) until you reach the square. Turn right on
the near side of the square (Rogers St) and proceed three blocks to
Common Threads. From I-45, turn on Hwy 287 and take Bus 287 through
town. Turn left on the far side of the square (Rogers St) and
