 First Ladies
 
 First Ladies - We are so excited to announce our newest block of the month with Windham Fabrics! First Ladies is a twelve month program that begins in September and honors the wives of presidents of the United States, some well-known, and some more obscure. The finished quilt measures 102" x 102". The program includes the pattern and the fabric for your quilt top and binding. You can sign up for this program here.

Summer Song - This beautiful quilt is a Common Threads original designed by Denice. The block of the month program uses Cotton Club by Paula Barnes as well as a scattering of Jo Morton browns and blacks. You can get a closer look at the fabrics in the pictures  on the Summer Song page here. The program includes the pattern and the fabric for your quilt top and binding. It will begin in October and run for 12 months. The finished quilt measures 80" x 80". To sign up for this program, click here.

They Also Served - This Common Threads Quilting original block of the month honors the brave nurses who saved lives and comforted the dying during the American Civil War. The program will run for 13 months beginning in January, 2012. It includes the pattern and the fabric for your quilt top and binding. The finished quilt measures 98" x 98". Kits
 
 
Here at Common Threads we try to have a good variety of kits available to our customers. We make kits with a single line of fabric, and also kits with multiple lines to showcase various patterns we like. Below are two of our current kits, but to see all of our kits, you can click here.
 
Delphia 

Delphia's Baskets - This Common Threads original design quilt was inspired by an antique quilt in Denice's collection.The kit includes the pattern and fabric along with the binding. For more information on this kit, click here.

Pioneer Braid - The Common Threads Quilting Signature Quilt! Although this quilt looks difficult, it is easy enough for a beginner. The kit contains the pattern and fabric for the top and binding. The quilt is set in vertical rows. For more information, click here.

 
 
 
Common Threads Original Patterns
 
We have a number of original patterns designed by our owner, Denice Lipscomb, as well as a number of our employees. Below are a couple of our favorite patterns, but you can see all of our original patterns here.

For Hannah - This quilt, designed in memory of one of Denice's ancestors, measures 84" by 90" with 8 inch finished blocks. There is lots of room in the setting blocks for showing off your quilting. For more information on this pattern, click here.

Old Glory - This quilt measures 84" by 84" and features 12 inch finished blocks. It is easy enough for a beginner--you just need to know how to make half square triangles! For more information on this pattern, click here.
