Spring is well underway and as we rapidly approach summer, what better way to spend a a lazy, hazy summer afternoon than working with beautiful fabrics? If you're looking for a little inspiration, we have three wonderful new Block of the Month patterns available on the website for you to check out along with two new fabric lines by Windam and Jo Morton.

This whimsical quilt was designed by The Quilt Company. The original quilt measures 70" x 70" but we are going to enlarge the outer border to a 6" border rather than a 2" border. The program will run 7 months beginning in August. The accessory kit is included free of charge.

New Fabric

 Delaines by WindhamDelaines

This very fine French woolen dress fabric was was first produced in the Mulhouse region of France in the 1830's. Intense Prussian blue and deep greens were especially popular colorations. These fabrics were used for both clothing and decorations and are frequently found in Log Cabin quilts in America. See the entire line here under "Newest Additions."

In a Spring Market class last week, Jo stated that these fabrics were designed as blenders to go with her other groups, and indeed the lovely, neutral colors would blend very well with other fabrics. If you're looking for something to complement that treasured fabric in your stash, take a look at these. You can see the entire line here in the "Newest Additions" just below the Delaines line.
